Practice
Joshua J. Remedios focuses his practice on representation of various clients in the hospitality industry. After dedicating a large portion of his practice over the last decade predominately to the laws governing alcohol beverages, he currently works with a wide array of participants in the hospitality and alcohol industry, including startup operators, established brands, and national chains. His experience includes representing clients in operational, regulatory, and compliance guidance, zoning matters, civil litigation proceedings, state administrative charges, criminal defense of alleged violations of alcohol beverage laws, commercial business transactions and lease negotiations. Mr. Remedios also counsels and advocates for clients with regard to all aspects of alcohol beverage licensing, appearing before local and state boards when necessary for appeals and variances and other land use matters. Mr. Remedios has additionally counseled numerous nightclubs, restaurants, hotels, performing arts centers, non-profit organizations, sports arenas and entertainment venues in complex licensing, compliance, acquisitions, and various other matters.
