Northwest Hotel Investment Forum Announces its Spring 2020 Meeting Program, “New Capital Stack Vehicles”

Seattle, WA (March 3, 2020) – The Northwest Hotel Investment Forum (NHIF) announced today that its centerpiece program for its April 23, 2020, meeting will be “New Capital Stack Vehicles.” A major hurdle for any hotel development is the completion of the project’s capital stack. The panel will explore new and innovative vehicles for filling out the capital stack, including programs for Opportunity Zones, PACE, and “crowd funding.”
The panelists are Ian Formigle (Chief Investment Officer, CrowdStreet, Portland), Greg Friedman (Chief Executive Officer, Peachtree Hotel Group, Atlanta), Amy Michaelson Kelly (Chief Operations Officer, Hatteras Sky, Atlanta), and Rafi Golberstein (Chief Executive Officer, PACE Loan Group, Minneapolis). Hannah Smith (Consultant, STR) and Mark Lukens (Managing Director, LW Hospitality Advisors) will also participate in the meeting’s program and provide information, forecasts, and analysis on hotel transactions and performance. The program and panel will be moderated by Irvin Sandman of Sandman Savrann, a national law firm devoted to the hospitality industry.
NHIF is an invitation-only, semi-annual forum for principals and executives of hotel owners, brands, management companies, developers, investors, and lenders. Currently in its tenth year, NHIF’s purposes are to provide a select-group setting for high-level industry discussions and to help spur hotel acquisitions, development, investment partnerships, and growth.
