Northwest Hotel Investment Forum Announces Private Hotel Debt Funds Program for its Spring 2018 Meeting
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Seattle, WA (February 15, 2018) – The Northwest Hotel Investment Forum (NHIF) announced today that its centerpiece program for its April 19, 2018, meeting will be “Private Debt Funds.” Executives from four of the nation’s best-known private hotel lenders will discuss the nature of their funds, how they are capitalized, what they bring to the table, and how hotel companies and developers can access them for their hotel projects.
The panelists are Mathew Crosswy, (President, Stonehill), Felix Gutnikov (Principal, EVP–Origination, Thorofare Capital, Inc.), Russell Munn (Managing Director–Hospitality, Lowe Enterprises Investors), and Tara Waldier (Vice President, Rockbridge Capital). Mark Lukens (Managing Director, LW Hospitality Advisors) will also participate in the meeting’s program and provide information, forecasts, and analysis on hotel transactions and performance. The program and panel will be moderated by Irvin Sandman of Sandman Savrann, a national law firm devoted to the hospitality industry.
Debt financing is always a crucial element in any hotel transaction or development. Although hotel owners, buyers, and developers are well aware of more typical sources of hotel debt financing, private debt funds present a lesser-known, growing source that can be directly accessed effectively by those who are familiar with them and what they deliver.
NHIF is an invitation-only, semi-annual forum for principals and executives of hotel owners, brands, management companies, developers, investors, and lenders. Currently in its eighth year, NHIF’s purposes are to provide a select-group setting for high-level industry discussions and to help spur hotel acquisitions, development, investment partnerships, and growth. It has the support of the industry’s major hotel brands, who serve as NHIF’s Brand Sponsors.
NHIF’s spring meeting will take place at the newly opened Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square. Qualified hotel executives and principals interested in an invitation to the meeting may email isandman@sandsav.com.
