The 4th Northeast Hotel Investment Forum will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Revere Hotel Boston Common. The NEHIF is a curated hotel development networking event limited to 100 invited guests. We hope you can come and be a member of our close knit hotel development community here in New England. The event runs from 4:00 – 7:30pm, and includes business updates, a national panel and two cocktail receptions with hors d’oeuvres for $125.

Patrick “JP” Ford, CHB, ISHC, Senior Vice President and Director of Global
Business Development, Lodging Econometrics (Portsmouth, NH) JP leads all of the Strategic Sales Initiatives for Lodging Econometrics and New England Hotel Realty. He is an industry leading real estate advisory specialist with over 30 years of experience providing business development, acquisition and disposition services in the United States. JP serves as a trusted advisor to Hotel Franchise Parent Companies looking to identify new construction and potential brand conversion opportunities; Hotel Ownership and Management Groups throughout North America looking to add hotel real estate assets and management contracts to their portfolios; Lodging Industry Vendors looking for new construction and product replacement opportunities to increase their product distribution and Wall Street Analysts looking to evaluate hotel real estate development and valuation trends.
James “Jim” Berry, Executive Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory Group- New England Area. (Boston, MA)
Jim is also a member of the Hospitality & Gaming group with expertise in New England and several other states. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2006, he was employed by Joseph J. Blake and Associates in Washington, D.C. as a Commercial Appraiser focusing on office, multifamily and hospitality property types from April 2003 to June 2006. He began his appraisal career with Colliers Pinkard in Baltimore, Maryland as a Junior Appraiser, assisting in the appraisal of all commercial property types from August 2001 to March 2003. Mr. Berry has completed over 1,100 hospitality related appraisal, review and consulting assignments over the past eight years. The majority of the assignments have been located in New England, while over 150 were in the cities of Boston and Cambridge. Property types he has appraised have ranged from luxury resorts to economy franchise hotels and independently operated inns.

Panelists:
Conner Donnini – Vice President of Business Development for Atlanta, GA based Access Point Financial (‘APF’). APF is a non-bank direct lender exclusively providing financing to qualified franchisees of major hotel brands throughout the United States. Conner is responsible for loan origination under APF’s Bridge, CapEx, and New Construction programs. In this role, he has closed and funded more than $250MM in hotel financing. Conner previously severed as an Associate of APF’s business development team where he underwrote, structured, and reported new financing opportunities. In addition, he has worked closely with internal credit, underwriting, servicing, capital markets, and closing/funding teams.
Adam Greene – co-founder and principal of Opportunity Z Fund Management (OF Management), which manages funds to be deployed in accordance with the Opportunity Zone incentives created by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Adam brings more than 25 years of finance experience to OF Management.
Prabhat Jayara – Vice President Mag Mile Capital’s Originations. He is responsible for originating, underwriting and packaging client transactions for lender review, as well as evaluating new investment opportunities. He has participated in closing over $500 million in financing for hotels, multifamily and retail properties nationwide. Prior to Mag Mile Capital, Prabhat held finance internships with Group One Trading, L.P. and Morgan Stanley in New York, as well as SAC Capital Advisors in Stamford, CT and Cap Gemini S.A. in Chicago, IL. Prabhat honed his knowledge of the hospitality industry working within a portfolio of successful hotels and restaurants in the Chicago area, including managing an extensive banquet and catering operation.
Prabhat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He also completed international studies programs in Prague and Singapore. He is active in the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and is a member of ICSC.
John F. Siska – Vice President of HREC providing a specialized focus on hospitality and resort debt placement and sales brokerage advisory services within New England and nationally. John has facilitated over $250 million in hotel sales and debt assignments. Prior to joining HREC, John was Senior Vice President for O’Connell Hospitality Group and handled all debt projects within the group in the Northeast. He previously served as Managing Director for the Hotel Investment division for Bedford Capital Corporation, a Northeast Boutique Investment Banking firm providing debt exclusively to the hotel industry. John has completed numerous CMBS, Bridge, Construction, Acquisition and Refinancing transactions for his client base. He has extensive experience in investment analysis, debt re-structuring and strategic planning. Prior experience includes managing five full service hotels in the greater Boston metro area for Peabody Hotel Group and Fine Hotels. John is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Hotel School and currently serves as an active member of the Hotel School’s Leadership Board.

Russell Savrann, Attorney – Counselor, Sandman Savrann PLLC (New Haven, CT & Boston, MA). Sandman Savrann is a national law firm devoted exclusively to providing comprehensive legal counsel to the hospitality industry. Russ has served as lead counsel for hotel clients in hundreds of hotel matters and transactions regionally, nationally and internationally, including hotel developments, acquisitions and dispositions, financial and entity structuring, management and franchise agreements, operational matters, and dispute resolution. As Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Russ worked with development, operations, construction, marketing, and compliance teams on an international platform. Prior to Starwood, Russ was the chief legal officer of Ground Round Restaurants.
