Northwest Hotel Investment Forum Announces “Hotel Reits” Panel for its Spring 2014 Meeting

Seattle, WA (February 20, 2014) – The Northwest Hotel Investment Forum (NHIF) today announced its centerpiece program for its April 17, 2014, meeting will be “Hotel REITS.” Senior executives from three national hotel REITS will discuss how REITS “think,” what their REITS are looking for, and how they work with developers, management companies, owners, and consultants to help deal flow. Apple REIT Companies, Summit Hotel Group, and RLJ Lodging Trust will be represented on the panel.
The panelists are Jeff Dauray (VP Acquisitions, RLJ Lodging Trust), Daniel Hansen (President and CEO, Summit Hotel Group), and Sam Reynolds (EVP and Director of Acquisitions/Dispositions & Portfolio Management, Apple REIT Companies). The panel will be moderated by Irvin Sandman of Sandman Savrann, a national law firm devoted to the hospitality industry. Mark Lukens of HREC, a national hotel real estate brokerage and consultancy firm, will also participate in the meeting’s program.
NHIF is an invitation-only, semi-annual forum for executives and principals of hotel investors, owners, lenders, developers, and management companies. Its purposes are to provide a select-group setting for high-level industry discussions and to help spur hotel acquisitions, development, investment partnerships, and growth. NHIF’s sponsors include Hilton Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels Group, Marriott International, Red Lion Corporation, and Wyndham Worldwide.
