6:30 pm—8:30 pm – Opening Reception at Warm Springs, 210 Skiway #1, (the “Sandman Winter Leasehold”), walking distance from the Warm Springs Challenger lift.
Selected wines, beers, cocktails, and other refreshments; heavy appetizers
Reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Check out each other’s ski histories (and, if you must, hotel industry histories, too!).

8:00 am—Meet at the Warm Springs Lodge (at the base of the Challenger lift) for a no-host breakfast gathering (lifts open at 9 am).
Connect up with the whole group and fall in with a ski posse of your choice. We expect three groups to emerge, for those that prefer runs that are: green/blue; blue/soft black; and black/double black runs.
11:45 am – Meet at Seattle Ridge for no-host lunch.
Get reorganized with lost skiers from your group; mix and rematch.
4:30 pm – Après ski at Warm Springs, the Sandman Winter Leasehold.
Selected wines, beers, cocktails, and other refreshments; light appetizers.
Share stories about the day. Some “awards” may be issued for “eventful” occurrences.

Extra credit: Repeat again, for those who will be traveling on Monday. For those who are traveling on Sunday and want to ski a half day, feel free to join us for breakfast and lunch.

THE POWDER SUMMIT 2.0 CONCEPT:
“Less is more.” “KISS.” These aren’t new concepts, but we’re applying them to Powder Summit 2.0. We love to ski or ride (or both!), and we love the hotel industry. The Powder Summit delivers the opportunity to refresh and make business and ski friendships that will last a lifetime, and doing so at a skier’s paradise. Why make it more complicated (or expensive)?
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Make your own reservations for accommodations
There are many options for accommodations. VRBO has many offerings in Warm Springs, at a variety price points: for example, VRBO #228753 is a large, beautiful house in Warm Springs, steps from the lift—6 couples and a few singles could share this for about $285/night/room. There are also many single units available for rental in Warm Springs and elsewhere at a range of price points. You can also consider a hotel in the town of Sun Valley or Ketchum. Arrange for your lift tickets:
Sun Valley is now a part of the Epic Pass. If you are an Epic Pass holder, 2 to 7 days of lifts at Sun Valley are covered, depending on your pass. As we get closer to the ski season, you will be able to obtain discount tickets by buying online, in advance, at https://www.sunvalley.com/lift-tickets/.

What’s included.
Registration covers the opening reception and the two après ski events, where beverages will be flowing and satisfying appetizers will be served. Of course, your registration also entitles you to participate in the no-host breakfast and lunch gatherings at the lodge and on the mountain. Registration will also include any dinner events that may be sponsored and announced as we get closer to our opening date. Early registration (before December 1, 2019) for an individual is $200. Early registration for couples is $300 for the couple ($150 per person)—spouses/significant others are very much encouraged to attend!
When and how to register.
The Powder Summit is an intimate event (the Sandman Winter Leasehold is relatively cozy), and so our head-count will be capped. Register early to save your spot. Early registration will also help us right-size and plan our receptions and events. Registration by December 1, 2019 is strongly encouraged. To help encourage early registration, our plan is to increase the ticket prices by $50 after December 1. Registration is by invitation only.
