Seattle, WA (February 26, 2013) – The Northwest Hotel Investment Forum (NHIF) announced its centerpiece program for its April 18, 2013 meeting will be “EB5 Hotel Financing.”  A panel of nationally-recognized EB5 experts will explore the use of EB5 financing by hotel developers.  The panelists will also discuss new hotel lending sources that use EB5 capital to provide hotel developers with traditionally-structured financing at attractive rates.

The panelists will include:

  • Henry Liebman, CEO and Chairman, American Life, Inc. (Seattle, WA).  Henry Liebman and his company pioneered the use EB5 financing for hotel development.  His developments include the Seattle Pioneer Square Marriott and the $168 million combined Courtyard and Residence Inn hotel project across the street from the JW Marriott Hotel at the “LA Live” entertainment center in downtown Los Angeles.
  • Adam Greene, President, Live In America Financial Services, and Sr. Vice President, The LCP Group (New York, NY).  Adam Greene’s company, The LCP group, provides development financing for real estate projects, including hotel development.  Its capital sources include funds derived from EB5 investments made through its affiliated company, Live in America Financial Services.
  • Angelique Brunner, President, EB5 Capital (Washington, D.C.).  Angel Brunner is a recognized financial professional in the EB5 industry.  She and her company also operate regional centers in Washington, D.C. and California, and their projects include the Sugarbush Resort in Vermont.

The panel will be moderated by Irvin Sandman of Sandman Savrann PLLC, a national law firm devoted to the hospitality industry.  Mark Lukens of HREC, a national hotel real estate brokerage and consultancy firm, will also participate in the meeting’s programs.
