Learn from industry experts about Northwest hotel performance, forecasts and trends, recent transactions, and equity activity. Then ask questions and listen to perspectives in a roundtable discussion.
Presenters and panelist:
Stephen R. Hennis, Director, STR Analytics (Boulder, Colorado)
Steve will provide an overview of regional hotel performance and forecasts and will then dive into further detail about specific submarkets that are leading or lagging in certain areas. He will have full operating statistics, beyond the usual metrics, including expense levels and GOP. He will also address transaction trends, development pipeline, and current investment paramenters. STR Analytics is the analytical arm of STR Global, the industry’s unparalleled information gatherer and provider. Steve has over fifteen years of experience in the analysis of lodging investments.
Mark Lukens, Senior Vice President, HREC (Seattle, WA)
Mark will provide information and analysis about regional transactions and activity. HREC is the nation’s premier real estate advisory and brokerage organization specializing exclusively in the lodging and gaming industries. Mark is in charge of HREC’s Seattle office. He has 25 years of experience in hospitality real estate and holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.
Stephen Duffy, Managing Director, Moss Adams Capital (Irvine, CA)
Steve will provide information and analysis about equity markets and funds, availability of and access to capital, return expectations, and trends and forecasts. Moss Adams Capital is an investment banking firm. Steve, who leads the company, has over 27 years of real estate, consulting and capital markets experience across the capital stack, both domestically and internationally.
Irv will moderate the discussion among the panelists and the participants. Sandman Savrann is devoted to providing comprehensive, first-choice legal counsel to the hospitality industry. Irv has served as lead counsel in hundreds of hotel ventures, transactions, restructurings and controversies worldwide and is a frequent speaker and writer on hospitality topics.
