RISA TECHNOLOGY:
As in-house counsel and outside counsel for major hotel brands, owners and managers, we realized that limited resources were available in the marketplace to allow hotel companies to effectively store and manage contract and regulatory data unique to hotel management. Currently under development, "Capture IT" is a low-cost, user-friendly cloud resource for hotel operators, brands, owners, counsel, and asset managers to manage and remotely access the contracts, permits, leases and insurance policies in day-to-day use at the hotels within a chain.
The "Capture IT" beta is expected to be introduced in the first quarter of 2012.
RISA INVESTMENT:
RISA Investments provides solutions for Hotel owners and operators who seek new sources of capital and debt, as well introduction services for potential partners, key executives and off-market deals.
Recent Projects include:
- Assisting developer with $6m capital raise
- Assisting broker with several "quietly" marketed hotels in the Pacific Northwest
- Assisting Chinese developer to acquire PRC development rights for a US brand
- Assisting mixed-use developer with finding hotel partner for hotel component of project
